A delicious and pretty pink dish for breakfast or dessert
MuesliIngredients:
1 cup traditional oats
1 cup pomegranate juice
1 grated apple
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Method:
Stir all the ingredients together in a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge overnight.
Custard
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon powdered custard
1 tablespoon caster sugar
1 cup milk
Method:
Place custard powder and sugar in a microwave safe bowl.
Add a little milk and beat with a fork to remove lumps.
Add the rest of the milk and beat with the fork.
Microwave for one minute and stir.
Return to microwave for a further minute.
Stir and cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge.
To serve:
Place muesli in a bowl and top with custard. You can also garnish this dish with nut and berries if you like.
