1 cup plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup milk
40 grams unsalted butter
1/2 cup frozen berries
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
Grease and line an 18 cm round cake tin. Set aside.
Put butter and berries in a bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.
Place all ingredients in a large bowl, add butter and berries and stir until just combined.
Pour into cake tin and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.
When cool (a few hours later), put some water in a saucepan on the stove until it simmers. Put a bowl on top of this (do not let bowl touch water). Add 200 grams chocolate melts.
Stir until it melts and then take it off the stove and add 1/3 cup thick cream.
Stir and then pour over cake.
