Art and Design Trends for 2014

Here is a brief report on some art and design trends we are likely to see in 2014


Pantone has announced 'Radiant Orchid' is the colour of the year for 2014.
“An enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health. It is a captivating purple, one that draws you in with its beguiling charm.”

This colour is sure to be seen throughout the year in fashion and interiors.

Colours include Placid Blue, Violet Tulip, Hemlock, Paloma, Sand, Freesia, Cayenne, Celosia Orange, Radiant Orchid and Dazzling Blue.


Swarovski's Gem Visions 2014 report announced Allegoria, Cross Gender, Minimal East and Eldorado Remix as its trends for this year.
