Apple Loaf Recipe

Quick and easy to make, this delicious loaf is best served warm with butter.



Loaf ingredients:

1 1/2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 apple, peeled and finely chopped. 
2 tablespoons oil
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk

Topping ingredients:

1 apple, peeled and finely sliced
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

 Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Oil and line a loaf tin with baking paper.

Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and stir until just combined.

Spoon into the loaf tin. 

4.
Top with the sliced apple. Stir together the cinnamon and sugar in a mug, then sprinkle over the top of your loaf.

5.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the centre springs back when pressed.
