Square canvas

Method:
Print out this picture or create your own, making a simple line drawing from a photo.
Divide your drawing into a grid of eight squares to make it easier for you to transfer the image to a canvas.
Divide your canvas into eight sqaures with a pencil and ruler. Draw your image onto the canvas, referring to your smaller image as you go.
Erase grid lines. Draw a line parallel to your curves to leave white.
Colour in your small printed image to decide which colours should go where.
Mix your acrylic colours and paint onto your canvas. Finish with a coat of Mod Podge or similar varnish.
